orange lip

As most people will have noticed, this spring orange lips have been everywhere. So I thought I’d show three different ways to wear the trend, from subtle to bold. Firstly the subtle, if the idea of a bright orange makes you feel a little nervous something like the Revlon colourburst lip butter in 015: Tutti Frutti is a nice way to try an orange tint without being too bold, plus because it’s a lip butter you get the benefits if a lip balm with the colour, definitely one for people who don’t like a matte lipstick.
Second is a red with orange tones with Rimmel moisture renew lipstick in In Love With Ginger, not quite a sharp tangerine orange, a little easier to wear but still a strong lip. The formula for the moisture renew lipsticks are great, really moisturising but still very pigmented, i definitely need to get my hands on some more of these. Another way to subtly wear orange is when wearing an orange toned red, a classic with a modern twist like the Revlon super lustrous lipstick in 750: Kiss Me Coral. Lastly a true bold orange for those experienced orange lip wearers or adventurous beauty addicts is Infrared by Topshop, I love this orange, it’s a great way to have a statement lip without going red and I think looks great when used to easily add a little something extra to a casual look.
So that’s my orange line up, are there any orange lip products you’re loving?
